goal

To reduce discrimination against out-of-school children (OOSC) and children with disabilities (CWDs) in the education system and improve quality of education for all children through inclusive education approaches.

Community Based Rehabilitation services

  1. Number of CBR center-2 (Guzadia and Noabad Union in Karimgonj Upzila, Kishorgonj Dist)

  2. Achievements of CBR center
    • Develop awareness among the parents; in present situation parents are aware about their children.
    • Making bridge between GO and NGO
    • The deprived 403 CWDs (Neuro Developmental disorders including Autism) from the root level of Bangladesh are taking services from CBR centre
    • 210 CWDs are enrolled in the mainstream school after providing services from the CBR centre.
    • Distributed Need-Based assistive devices among the CWDs.

  • Develop awareness among parents, community people and other stake holders
  • Organize courtyard meeting
  • Prevent eve teasing and early marriage
  • Find out the children with disabilities and enroll them in the CBR centre for services. Linkage with school teacher to enroll the CWDs and OOSC.
  • Meeting with the UP Chairman in the budget session to allotted fund for CWDs in the CBR centre
  • Networking with likeminded organizations
